Ningbo Solar pioneered solar technology in China, producing the country's first silicon ingots in 1966, and the first Chinese solar panels in 1978. ReneSola is a leading vertically integrated OEM service provider and manufacturer of solar power products based in China. The company was founded in 2005 as a solar wafer manufacturer and quickly grew to become one of the largest solar wafer manufacturers in the world. How it Works
The evacuated tube solar collector is a device that absorbs thermal energy from the sun and converts it into usable heat. The heat is absorbed by water or a freeze resistant water mix, which can then be used to supplement hot water heating, space heating and even space cooling.

Collector Operation
1. Sunlight is absorbed inside the evacuated tube, causing heat to build up
2. The heat pipe inside the tube carries thermal energy up to the manifold box
3. Fluid circulating from the storage tank to the header extracts the energy from the hot heat pipe
tips 4. The heated fluid is moved back to the storage tank and the cycle begins again

System Sizing
In most parts of Hawaii, a family of four can serve at least 90% of their hot water needs with just one AP-30 collector. The following chart can be used as a general guide to determine your collector needs. Contact Lumen Solar or an approved Apricus installer for a detailed site analysis.

Warranty
Apricus offers a 10-year warranty on its evacuated tubes and heat pipes and a 15-year warranty on the manifold and frame.
